How many Dads are in the group?
This is a fluid number but, currently, our membership stands at around 40 dads in the group with the majority of them active.

How old are the guys in the group?
The ages of the men in the group range from the mid 20's to the mid 50's with an average age of 36.

What occupational backgrounds make up the group?
Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds; Minister, Musician, Health Physicist, CPA, Band Director, Chemist, Corporate Trust Officer, Quality Assurance Manager, Landscape Architect, Accounting Executive, FDIC Bank Examiner, Journalist, Investment Manager, SCUBA Instructor, Project Manager, Family Law Attorney, Graphic Designer...

What is the age range of the children in the group?
The children in the group range in age from newborn on up. The majority of the children attending the playgroups are under the age of five. Except in the summer when the ages go way up!

How old is the group? How did it form?
The group was formed in August of 1998 as an outgrowth of the DFW At-Home Dads Network to better serve the concentration of stay at home dads residing in the far North Dallas corridor. The group now involves fathers from Coppell, Irving, Dallas, Oak Lawn, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Richardson, Plano, The Colony, McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Mesquite, Desoto, Cedar Hill & Rowlett.
