Dallas
Dads
Welcome
to the At-Home Dads of Greater Dallas website. This site is dedicated
to all of the families in the Dallas area stepping out on the edge of
parenting. Come on in and visit.
Drop us a line, ask us a question or just look around. Our Mission here
is to build a network of fun, fathering and friendships for the stay-at-home
dad and their families while promoting a greater awareness of this family
option within the community.
The group was formed in August of 1998 as an outgrowth
of the DFW At-Home Dads Network to better serve the concentration of
at home dads residing in the North Dallas corridor. These days membership
comes from all over the Dallas side of the DFW metroplex. From Dallas
to Frisco; from Rowlett to Carrolton, and everywhere in between. We
are happy to have some members who have been around since the beginning,
but many of those At-Home Dad Pioneers from the last century don't get
to the preschool-centric playgroups too often anymore (at least not
during the school year). By our nature, we are a dynamic, ever-changing
group, and we are glad you have found us.
